ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and self-driven Finance Analyst to join our Telstra Enterprise Team which generates over $1 Billion in revenue for the core business. Reporting to the Commercial Manager of Telstra Enterprise Finance you will see yourself supporting Business Stakeholders by providing accurate and timely insights in to the business. You will act as a true business partner to assist with the short and long term decision making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES,
You will provide financial and commercial analysis and act as a Finance Business Partner aligned with the strategic goals of the Telstra Enterprise business unit. Your key responsibilities include and not limited to, analysing and preparing monthly financial reports, preparing of budgets and forecast documentation and submission, collaborate with stakeholders to understand and advise on financial risks, opportunities and issues as well as provide regular analysis, key insights and commentary to assist with the delivery of financial and strategic outcomes.

You will also be required to identify and assist in executing continuous improvement opportunities such as streamlining a particular process and make recommendations on how to improve it.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

An Accounting background with a CA / CPA
Demonstrated experience in financial analysis
Advanced spread sheet skills with modelling and analytics experience go hand in hand with this role.
Strong stakeholder management at all levels
Ability to work autonomously and as a team on projects
Incredible passion and loyalty with a hardworking and quick learning attitude to go over and beyond to make a difference to the business.
