Job Introduction 你的工作是：

Working in a multimedia English Language Teaching (ELT) team of producers, and reporting to the Team Leader. Shift work may be required which could include nights, weekends and public holidays. The post-holder will work primarily on content for Chinese English-language learners although s/he may also be expected to work on content for global audiences.

Role Responsibility 你的职责是：

Working as a member of a team to originate, research, prepare, produce and present English language teaching items, packages, interviews, discussions, complete programmes, and features, for radio, the Internet and other media forms, including social media platforms. To ensure that any programme material for which the post holder is responsible is strongly audience and learner focused, and meets the standards required by the BBC.

The Ideal Candidate 你的人设：

1. A DELTA or equivalent ELT qualification is desirable

Proven experience in producing materials for English language learners is essential - preferably in an international context. Experience of using radio, online, or other media for educational purposes would be beneficial.

2. Native speaker knowledge of Mandarin Chinese, coupled with an excellent knowledge of the English language including complete comprehension of both languages in written and spoken forms, and first class communication and translation skills.

3. Ability to write, adapt and edit with accuracy, clarity and style appropriate to differing audiences, differing levels of English comprehension, and forms of media, suitable for broadcasting or online content

4. Recent and relevant full-time experience as a radio or online producer is essential; online experience is particularly desirable. A good broadcasting voice and a presentation style suitable for modern, fast-moving FM radio.
