原来水果也能当俚语~
英语中的slang多种多样，竟然连苹果啊，橙子啊，葡萄，香蕉都有他们特定的用法和含义，学一些老外日常挂在嘴边的俚语，尽快的适应并且融入Aussie的生活吧~
今天你Go banana了没？
apples and oranges
-to dismiss a "distinct difference" noted between two things which are not distinctly different.
-指对比两个不相干的事物，没有意义。
若真要翻译，中文里到有一个成语可以与之对应—风马牛不相及。两个事物全然不同，自然就没有比较的意义。
e.g.: Why are you trying to compare those things? You can't compare apples to oranges, they're just not the same thing.

apple of (one’s) eye
-The favorite object of a person's love or affection
-某人的心头所爱，也可译作掌上明珠。
这个用法大家应该都还是遇到过的。其实这个短语的起源是因为：苹果的形状在古人眼里酷似人瞳孔的样子，因此非常珍贵。这句话最早出现的典故可以追述到《圣经》中，看来真的是历史悠久呢….
e.g.: Linda was fond of all the horses on the ranches, but the little palomino was the apple of her eye.

the apple never falls far from the tree
-To suggest that a person’s personality traits are close to those of the person’s parents.
-有其父必有其子。
这个词组真的特别形象有木有~苹果掉下来离树不远，孩子的个性一定有家族特征。这个表达可褒可贬，就看你怎么用咯~
e.g.: I looked at the father, then at the son, and I thought, The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

go bananas
-to go mildly crazy or very emotional
-某人变得有点疯狂，或是非常情绪化。
drive (someone) bananas.
是指惹恼某人，让某人变得烦躁。
(感觉banana在英语里没啥特别好的意思。经常就是和软弱阿、疯狂阿这些形象联系起来，banana们还真是没救了…..)
e.g.: I just went bananas when she told me she wanted to move out

Life’s a bowl of cherries
-Everything is going well. Something that you which means that life is very pleasant.
-暗指生活美好简单。
Cherry的模样就是娇娇嫩嫩、惹人怜爱，和美好挂钩倒也是说得通。同理，如果说人生不如意十之八九就可以这样说：Life isn’t always a bowl of cherries.

not give a fig
-if you say that you don't care a fig, you mean that something or someone is not important to you at all.
-也就是不在乎的意思。
e.g.: They can say what they like, I don't give a fig.

peaches and cream
-To say that someone or something is a “peach” means that they are beautiful, excellent, or sweet.
-用桃子来形容某人，也暗指这个人很甜美~
peaches and cream用来指生活很顺利，就像吃桃子和奶油时的感受。

sour grapes
-Sour grapes is the action of making something seem less important after finding out they can't have it.
-也就是中文里的吃不到葡萄说葡萄酸，英文里叫酸葡萄。因为得不到某物，就想办法让其变得不那么重要。
e.g.: I know you really wanted to win that car. That’s just sour grapes.

Forbidden fruit
-In the narrative, the fruit of good and evil was eaten by Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, which they had been commanded not to do by God.
-也就是指《圣经》中的禁果，泛指吸引人诱惑人但却不能碰的事物。感觉大家应该对这个很熟悉啦~
e.g.: A day came when someone ate the forbidden fruit filled men with greed and being controlled under desires, Mago then gradually turned from a paradise into a desert.
其实有句话说的对，语言学习源自于生活. 想要熟练掌握一门外语,光靠 “机械性”的背诵是远远不够的~ 学习语言或许是一个比较冗长沉闷的过程，也不是一天两天就能速成的，但是如果大家能持之以恒，不需很久，短短几周，你就会看见明显的进步哦~
