都说澳洲是一个多元化多民族的国家。

而最近2018环球小姐澳洲区的评选中，再次证明了这一点！

24岁的Francesca Hung成功登顶冠军，夺得了今年环球小姐澳洲区的头衔。

她的爸爸是中国人，而她的妈妈是爱尔兰人。

在夺得冠军后，她表示连自己都不相信身为亚裔竟然可以拿到冠军头衔。

“I’ve always watched it on telly. I didn’t think this was the face Australia wanted to have represent them but you’ve proven me wrong,”

她原本以为自己的亚洲脸孔并不是澳洲想要的，但最后事实证明并不是这样。

“I’m still a little in shock to be honest. It’s like a dream. Myself being Eurasian, and not Anglo-Saxon, I didn’t think I was the typical girl.

作为一名欧亚混血儿，得到冠军的那一刻，她自己也震惊了，感觉就像做梦一样。

而来观赏比赛的上届冠军，也表示这是整个活动的一次突破，第一次有亚裔女孩夺得环球小姐澳洲区的冠军。

“She might not be the typical Aussie girl that has been the winner in the past but she’s the perfect representation of multicultural Australia and who we are.

她跟过去夺得冠军的澳洲女孩都不一样，但她完美的展示了澳洲的多元化。

而谈及获得冠军头衔之后想干嘛时，这名华裔女孩表示想要致力于消除人们对精神疾病的一些误解。

“I’m quite passionate about mental health, I had a girlfriend lose her battle against depression six months ago. I want to break down this stigma given to mental health,”

最后，恭喜这名女孩夺冠。
