Junior Financial Planner

Our Melbourne office is based in the CBD with 10 Partners and almost 70 staff; we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Financial Planner to join our high-performing Financial Planning team. This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to move to permanent as our Firm grows. Hours will be negotiable for the right candidate.

Supported by our Financial Planners, Customer Service Officers, and administration staff, the successful candidate will assist in all Financial Planning duties including:

• managing the client review process;

• preparing advice documents, including financial modelling;

• implementing advice;

• liaising with external parties, including Fund Managers;

• attendance and minuting of client meetings with Senior Planners; and

• accurately finalising and collating compliance and advice documents.

To be successful in this role you must:

• be competent in the completion of SOAs, ROAs, and compliance documents;

• have an understanding of compliance regulations;

• have at least three years' experience in a similar role;

• be proficient with Word and Excel; and

• have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The successful candidate must be RG146 compliant and hold a Diploma of Financial Services, or a related tertiary qualification.
