Part Time - Digital Interactions Banker-

Consumer Connect Now

Connect Now is a team of Bankers and Home Finance Managers delivering the right advice at the right time to our customers. The team utilises leading edge video and digital technology to connect with our customers. It is a key growth investment to complement our market leading branch and mobile coverage. We will ensure that every customer has access to the expertise and banking relationship that they need to succeed.

The role
The Connect Digital Interactions Banker will deliver exceptional customer service whilst achieving specific performance objectives aligned to the role. The Connect digital interactions banker will also maximise shareholder value through deepening customer relationships, informing customers about relevant products and services, highlighting alternative channels or products and arranging referrals to business partners. The Connect digital interactions banker is highly skilling in communicating verbally with customers via outbound calling.

Accountabilities

• Reporting to the Team Leader, the Connect Digital Interactions Banker is responsible for;
  

• Helping our customers realise and protect their equity funded dreams

• Responding to customer enquiries for New Lending and Top Ups via Westpac Live

• Refer home lending sales opportunities to the appropriate customer channel of choice 

The person
To be successful in this role you will ideally have;

• 1-2 years in a customer centric company or role 

• Proven track record in service and providing appropriate solutions to suit customer needs 

• Financial Services / Banking Background

• Understanding of bank processes, systems and procedures 

• Strong time management skills

Home Finance Manager - Melbourne North East

The role
As a Home Finance Manager, you play a key role in Westpac's strategic ambition of earning all our customers' business. You’ll be driven by innovation and:

• Accountability for building relationships and delivering superior service through your knowledge of mortgage products and services 
  

• Selling Westpac’s financial products and providing professional financial advice by meeting with customers and deepening customer relationships through quality needs based conversations, exploring customers financial needs and goals
  

• Understanding the local consumer market (at every available opportunity, talk to local referral partners, and understand their customer base.  Build business acumen and provide advice based on individual customer needs identified and met)

  
  

The person

• Proven lending experience and passion for sales delivery 
  

• Effective relationship management skills
  

• Business and financial acumen are considered an advantage
