The opportunity

We are looking for an energetic and proactive Junior Accountant to join the finance team.

This exciting role will be hands on and responsible for:

• Ensuring that bank reconciliations are completed correctly;

• Ensuring that all bookkeeping activities are correct and accurate;

• General Ledger maintenance under guidance of senior team members;

• General Accounting and basic tax (BAS, PAYG, FBT) related activities;

• Accounts payable / accounts receivable support when assistance is required.

Who are you?

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Accounting degree or degree in similar discipline;

• Two years of experience in similar position;

• MYOB/Microsoft Great Plain experience preferable;

• Strong computer literacy, particularly with excel

• Exceptional attention to details;

• Can do attitude and drive for continuous learning;

• Great communication skills and time management skills essential.
