About the Role: 
Due to our continued success and international expansion, we are in search for the next talented Software Engineer to join our Melbourne Team!

As a member of the Plexus Engineering Team, you will be applying modern architectural principles using the latest technology stacks to generate the future of the law and will sit alongside exceptional engineers, business analysts and consultants across the business who have worked at some of Australia’s most successful technology companies. Due to the innovative and ever-evolving nature of our business, this is ‘day one’ in our new product and you personally will have an outsized impact on the product, the organisation and the customer from the get-go.

Key objectives:

• You will be writing clean, testable, and reliable code.

• You will participate as a member of a small growing cross-functional team in a rapid growth phase containing members with different skill-sets and levels of experience.

• You will build the Plexus Gateway SaaS product applying Event Sourced, CQRS and Domain Driven principles.

• You will be delivering highly available, scalable, performant software with quality proven through rigorous test automation.

We are looking for someone who:

• Cares about their work and its respective quality;

• Is capable of writing clean, testable code;

• Is committed to learning and demonstrate a willingness to learn new programming languages, frameworks and architectures;

• Is committed to teaching and be willing to mentor and share experiences with the entire team;

• Likes working with a small team and having an outsized impact.;

• Is very comfortable working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced team; 

• Is effective at communicating

We would love it if you also had experience in:

• Javascript frameworks (react.js, vue.js);

• Programming in one or more of python, ruby, javascript, java and go;

• Solid TDD/BDD experience;

• Web application expertise and breadth of experience including SaaS

• AWS architectures

• Serverless framework

• Past experience in other agile environments

• Infrastructure automation - Terraform or Cloudformation
