They may deliver projects as individual capital equipment or complete turnkey plant solutions within mining, mineral processing or related industries.
As a Project Manager, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to work across all facets of the project, from initial conceptual design through to commissioning and client handover. We are seeking a PM that is strong technically, can demonstrate the ability to manage risk and stakeholders through all facets of project milestones.
You will need to demonstrate the following experience and skills;
At least 15 years’ project management experience with an understanding of Engineering, Fabrication Procedures, Sourcing, Procurement, Shipping and QA/QC Methods
Proven experience in managing complex, large (50M+ AUD) process industry projects
Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, mechanical, electrical or chemical
Proven experience in managing projects that adhere to timeline, budgets, quality and mitigate risk
Proven understanding of commercial terms and financial objectives of projects
Demonstrated experience in project scheduling combined with a systematic way of working
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong business relationships with customers, willingness to travel as required
Excellent communication skills combined with a proven ability to make timely technical and commercial decisions that impact the project
A proven ability to take ownership of project problems, analyse issues and drive outcomes to resolution
