About the Company

The Port Adelaide Football Club is a professional Australian rules football club based in Alberton, South Australia, which plays in the Australian Football League (AFL) (in which they are known as the Power) and the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) (in which they are known as the Magpies). Port Adelaide is the older of the two clubs in South Australia playing in the AFL and the 5th oldest club playing in the Australian Football League. Since the club's first game on May 24, 1870, it has won 36 SANFL premierships, including six in a row. The club also won the Champions of Australia competition on a record four occasions.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Consultant, a Marketing and Communications Specialist is needed in a capacity, to join their team and hit the ground running.

As the Marketing and Communications Specialist, your role will include,

· Developing, implementing and executing a marketing plan for their programs, products, services and events.

· Collaborating with the team to manage relationships with local Chinese society to achieve marketing objectives

· Managing the development, production and distribution of all marketing collateral, merchandise and publications.

· Managing social media presence, in cooperation with local Chinese - language media, making recommendations to improve the company website

· Managing relationships with approved designers, advertising agencies, and other service providers and manage the budget associated with the marketing work they perform

· Overseeing a developing Online Community of interest

About you

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following,

· 6 months experience in marketing management or a similar role, students also be considered

· Demonstrated experience in writing and executing marketing strategies

· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting experience

· A good understanding of the principles of direct marketing, digital marketing and the use of research in the development of strategic marketing plans

· Excellent project and time management skills to be able to handle completing multiple projects

· Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
