This is an exciting entry level opportunity for a recent graduate to join our IT team in our head office in the Sydney CBD. We are looking for an IT Graduate (Diploma of Information Technology Networking, Advanced Diploma of Computer Systems Technology, Bachelor of Information Technology [Networking and Cybersecurity] or a Bachelor of Computer Science). 

This is a client facing role that encompasses level 1 or 2 Desktop, Network and System support reporting to the IT Manager.

Duties

-Act as one of the primary points of contact for all IT incidents and requests including, but not limited to: software installations, hardware quoting and ordering, laptops builds, fault diagnosis and rectification, and user account administration. You will provide this support over the phone, remotely, or face to face. (ELMO supports a Mac and Windows laptop environment).

-Log and maintain details of requests within the ticketing system. Assign appropriate classification to incidents, requests and other assigned work and review long running requests regularly to ensure their effective resolution.

-Monitor overall requests and escalate to IT Manager as required

-Maintain an inventory of assets

ISO 27001 Implementation and Certification

-As IT Support you will be part of ELMO’s Security Team and will be a member of ELMO’s Security Incident Response Team.

-Support the Information Security Policy and follow and promote all systems and processes to ensure that ISO 27001 requirements are met and maintained.

-Participate in internal and external audits.

Skills

Must have full Australian working rights

Knowledge and experience working with Active Directory would be advantageous.

Backup and replication

Network Design and Implementation

WAN, VPN, VLANs, NAS

Switch configurations (Aruba)

Watchguard Firewalls

Help Desk Support – Level 1 and 2

Microsoft Certifications will be highly regarded

Hardware, Printers, video conferencing and peripherals
