You are fluent in HTML5, CSS, Javascript, and jQuery and are familiar with PHP or similar back end language. You are an Agile enthusiast You are comfortable working with CSS preprocessors (Less, Sass/SCSS) You can write your code from scratch (that is clear and maintainable), love debugging and benchmarking, and are passionate about providing great performing code. You have experience/knowledge of writing animations within HTML You are a strong communicator (written and spoken) You have an eye for design/detail
Responsible for the design, development and delivery of front end to support the MemberExperience and Group strategy; Develop, test and deliver unique creative pieces of work using the latest front- end technologies; Responsible for keeping a track of industry trends around front end web development andsharing this with the team; Design and build quality web software and look at continuous improvement opportunities; Collaborate with others in the Digital team to ensure outcomes are achieved.
Relevant tertiary qualifications, including a Bachelor Degree in computing science or relatedfields; Experience as a Front End Developer experience, particularly working across mobile devices; Sitecore CMS Certified & experience in 7.2 and above; HTML5, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, AngularJS, JIRA; Proficiency and fluency in ASP.NET and C#; Experience with ASP.NET MVC and/or Web Forms; Experience with personalisation; Experience with and appreciation for web accessibility guidelines; Strong technical experience and high standards; Experience of creating interfaces built from API’s; Good understanding of responsive design, agile delivery and accessibility guidelines; Proven experience in a similar role ideally in the superannuation or financial services industryincluding legislation, regulations and market trends; An understanding of the importance of user experience, design, usability and IA research &analysis in a successful web project;
