In the past, people ate local food in season. Nowadays, people buy a variety of food from all over the world. Do advantages outweigh disadvantages?

题目思路

首先，在我们看范文之前，黄老师想提醒同学们注意几点：

1.该题及其容易写成废话逻辑（tautology），同学们请千万注意不要写套话（具体讲解戳黄老师上期推文《西游记式回答》），比如：

❌ 国际食物能够让人们品尝到来自于不同国家的食物（等同于‘国际食物让人们品尝到国际食物‘）。

✅ 国际食物能够让人们足不出户就领略到食物所代表的异域文化（异域：exotic）

2.该题问题为outweigh类型，对于该类型的题目同学们可以一律采取2+3的写作格式，即：

✅ 优点1 + 优点2 + 缺点1 + 缺点2 + 缺点3 = 缺点大于优点（反之亦然）

缺点段1：

International food has adversely affected traditional regional cuisines. These cuisines grow and develop in homes, and traditional meals and preferences for specific dishes come from exposure on a day-to-day, week-to-week basis whereas our modern, multicultural environment that has incubated the global prevalence of certain food from dominant cultures can both help us appreciate other cuisines while at the same time depreciate our connection to our personal heritage with food.

缺点段2：

Also, when visiting an unfamiliar region or foreign land, it is impossible for travelers to seek out a true cultural experience including authentic sampling of its cuisine if the area is populated with international food chains. These restaurants are impossible to provide tourists and travelers with a cultural gustatory experience which can only be found in more upscale traditional offerings that fuse regional dishes with cooking techniques.
