Graduate Structural Engineer
McFarlane & Partners specialises in structural engineering design services for residential, commercial and institutional buildings. We also provide geotechnical engineering services and we carry out forensic engineering investigations.
We are seeking a graduate engineer for a role commencing toward the end of 2019. This position is open to undergraduates currently completing the final year of a four-year Civil engineering or Structural engineering degree at an Australian University.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Be in the final year of their degree course with good academic results to date;
Expect to qualify as a Civil/Structural engineer in 2019;
Have good written and verbal communication skills;
Have a very keen ambition in becoming a structural engineer;
Be able to commence work in about November or December 2019; and
Be prepared to work within a small team of dedicated professionals.
Experience in CAD drafting and other engineering software programs will be useful, but not essential.
About the Role
This is a full-time position based in Camberwell, Victoria.
The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training in all aspects of structural design and in the use of structural design software.
