Our Graduate Program

Applications are now open for Electrical Engineering students to join our Graduate Program in 2020.

If you are currently completing (or recently completed) a degree in Electrical Engineering, and have a genuine interest in the electricity supply industry, we want to hear from you!

By joining our Graduate Program you have the opportunity to start your career in a reputable, high performing and successful business. Each Graduate has the opportunity to put theory into practice by delivering meaningful projects and solving real problems while working alongside our team of highly motivated professionals.

Our two year Graduate Program is challenging, rewarding, and structured to provide you with the right tools, skills and hands-on experience for a successful career in engineering. It is also designed to assist you with achieving Chartered Professional Engineering status.

The program typically involves four x 6 month rotations across different departments, under the direct supervision of Principal Engineers. These rotations include activities associated with technical and engineering policy, design, analytics, investment strategy and planning, network performance, demand forecasting and network planning.

At the end of the program you will join a specialist stream of engineering that best matches your interests, skill set and business needs.

We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, innovative, eager to learn, and genuinely want to add value to our business and the community we work in.

To be considered you must:  

• have completed an Electrical Engineering tertiary qualification by the end of the 2019 academic year

• have strong communication and analytical skills

• be prepared to commence full-time employment in January 2020

• be an Australian citizen or permanent resident

• have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or greater
