Digital Coordinator, Aussie Specialist Program (Shanghai)

Tourism Australia recognise the important role that front line travel sellers play in bringing visitors to Australia. The Aussie Specialist Program is the interactive online training platform Tourism Australia uses to educate, update and motivate these agents, making it easier to sell and assisting in their efforts to promote the many tourist attractions and unique qualities Australia has to offer their customers. Think of the role as a “Destination Influencer” or an “Australian Advocate.” Your team will help develop, implement and maintain the program in China.
Working with, and learning from people who have broad experience (e.g. digital marketing, social and digital content) and strong vision in the digital space, we are looking for a star Digital Coordinator be responsible for the digital marketing aspect of the Aussie Specialist Program (ASP) in China.

With drive, motivation and energy, you will be responsible for delivering on the following:
Supporting and working in harmony with the Aussie Specialist Trainers (who are on the road doing face to face training) to ensure the content on the ASP platform is relevant and up to date
Reviewing and localising (for your region) the back-end content, editing and updating imagery and text, publishing news articles relevant to that region, producing newsletters and eDMS, etc.
You will have access to an analytical platform that will enable you to better manage the content required and tailor it appropriately – don’t worry, you don’t have to be overly experienced in analytics – the key is in conversion/ performance based results
Identify ways that the content can be kept fresh and engaging and implement these methods; work with Aussie Specialist Program manager to create and implement content stream solutions
Manage the backend administration of the ASP site using online portals, e.g. approving agents, extracting data, raising tickets for bugs
Manage the ASP community area, including ASP WeChat comments, ASP site inquiries addressed the Q&A section and where relevant an online forum
Work with the distribution team in market to develop and implement an ASP engagement plan – e.g. prepare E-blasts, WeChat activities, flyers, training collateral and newsletters to meet agreed KPIs
Work with State Tourism Organisation Destination Specialists to ensure appropriate information is available for the Aussie Specialist Program – gathering, translating, localising and publishing content using a web content management system
To deliver on the above, your resume will demonstrate the following:
-A strong marketing and content creation focus is key – you will need to have common sense, a good handle of prioritizing workloads and juggling the needs of the various regions and stakeholders.
-Prior experience working with a Content Management System (CMS) is desirable.
-Excellent English language skills (reading/writing and oral/aural)
-Excellent Mandarin Language skills
-Previous knowledge of Webinar technology an advantage
-Previous experience of publishing online content and social content
-Sound understanding of customer service and marketing principles
-Experience in creating, gathering, translating, localising content
-Experience with ADOBE Marketing Cloud software, specifically; Experience Manager, ADOBE Analytics’ and ADOBE Campaign is highly desirable
