What will you do?

Working as part of our IT Customer Experience Team, the primary focus of this role is to manage the performance of Target's IT applications.

Other key responsibilities may include:

• Establish and execute test strategies and test plans for performance and load testing

• Maintain document performance results at relevant tiers of the application stack

• Collect all key performance measurements to be interpreted to present performance characteristics and trends of our applications

• Integrate performance tests into build pipelines to provide frequent, relevant feedback to associated delivery teams

• Support delivery teams in the root cause analysis of the results

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications and 7+ years working experience in a similar role.  Significant experience working in a large organisation is essential as is knowledge of Continuous Integration Tools, strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices along with strong experience in LoadRunner/Performance Center script creation, expertise working with multiple types of datastores (MSSQL, RDBMS, NoSql, search, analytics) and previous experience with AWS components such as EC2, RDS, S3, DynamoDB, Kinesis
