东方影都位于山东省青岛市黄岛区西海岸经济新区中央商务区内，规划总用地面积364.47公顷。本项目所在地块总面积为13.60公顷，包含大剧院和秀场两大功能。总建筑面积地上约54,128㎡，其中大剧院24,022㎡，秀场30,106㎡。大剧院总高41.70米，秀场总高50米，停车数量2426辆,其中包括电影红地毯走秀区、观众区、VIP区、表演区、后场、公共交通空间、运营行政设施等。

Oriental theatre is located in the central business district of the west coast economic new area,15 kilometers away from the central area of Huangdao, 30 kilometers away fromthe downtown area of Qingdao. The total planned area of the plot is 364.47hectares, while the total area of the plot where the project is located is 13.60hectares, including the grand theatre and the show theatre.

本项目吸收了山东和中国的丰富的舞台艺术文化遗产，并且把这些艺术灵感转化成灵动的建筑形式。本方案的设计理念来自于中国传统京剧中的水袖舞。结合基地优美的海岸线，将水袖柔美飘逸的韵味气质很好的融入到我们设计的剧院和秀场当中。

剧院和秀场相依而建，流畅优美的曲线将他们统一在一起，如同两个水袖舞者翩翩起舞，将以流畅优美的姿态出现在青岛美丽的山海之间。飘逸如同海风，动感犹如流水，相互交织融合，将传统京剧的精神以崭新的方式带入建筑的灵魂。建筑与景观形态优美流畅。两个建筑和而不同，互相烘托，流动的形式使得他们非常协调统一。

This project absorbs the rich stage artcultural heritage of Shandong as well as China, and transforms these artistic inspirations into smart architectural forms. The design concept of this plancomes from the water sleeve dance in traditional Chinese opera. Combined with the beautiful coastline of the base, the soft and elegant charm of the water sleeves is well integrated into our designed theaters.

The grand theater and show theatre arebuilt side by side, and the smooth and beautiful curves unite them together,just like two sleeved dancers dancing gracefully. They will appear in the beautiful mountains and seas of Qingdao in a smooth and graceful manner. The flow is like the sea breeze, the movement is like flowing water, intertwined and fused, bringing the spirit of traditional Chinese opera into the soul of the building in a new way.The architecture and landscape are beautiful and harmonious.The two buildings are harmonious and mutually exclusive, and the flowing form makes them very harmonious and unified.

立面上流动的线条，与景观中的曲线融为一体，就像水袖舞在某一个瞬间的固化。两个剧场的外部用特殊设计的装饰板包裹，白天闪耀犹如龙鳞，夜间轻柔如同白光。

本设计选用的材料力求表现建筑的内在气质并加强建筑和总图设计的概念。建筑外立面的材料和色彩力图创造‘丝带’效果。外立面由一系列包裹建筑的金属条带组成。它们流动变化，在低处接触地面，在高处形成遮阳挑檐。这些条带用折叠金属铝板专门加工，并且嵌有反映京剧中传统水袖的浮雕图案。立面采用了条形LED灯光。它们可以由中央电脑系统统一控制色彩，还可以在夜间为特殊的活动展示特殊的灯光图案。

The curves flowing on the facade merge with the curves in the landscape, just likethe solidification of water sleeve dance at a certain moment. The exterior of the two theaters is wrapped with specially designed decorative panels, which shine like dragon scales during the day and soft like white light at night.

The materials selected in thisdesign strive to express the internal temperament of the building and strengthen the concept of building and general plan design. The materials andcolors of the building facade strive to create a 'ribbon' effect. The facadeconsists of a series of metal strips that wrap the building. They flow andchange, contacting the ground at a low place and forming a canopy at the top.These strips are specially processed with folded metal aluminum plates, and areembedded with relief patterns that reflect the traditional water sleeves in ChineseOpera.

室内用红色，金色，珍珠白装饰。秀场采用白色吸声石膏板作为栏板，以及红色的地毯和黑色的镶边。门厅用暖色调来强调入口空间的宽敞大气，并且可以在夜间为室外投射出温暖的光线。吊顶用珍珠白装饰板，嵌入的背光条带与立面上的丝带和景观中的曲线相呼应。墙面，酒吧以及其他空间采用浅色木材装饰，为室内空间增加柔软和温暖的质感。

最后，贵宾休息区的装饰奢华大气。包括红毯，石膏板，以及珍珠马赛克装饰。活动家具和固定家具力图显得轻盈灵动。天花悬挂一系列‘水母’吊灯。这个艺术装置造型华美，莹莹闪烁，为到来的名人政要投射出浮动流转的光彩。

The interior is decorated with red, gold and pearl white. The show theatre uses white sound absorbing gypsum board as the railing, with red carpet and black trim. The entrance hall uses warm colors to emphasize the spacious atmosphere of the entrance space, and can project warm light to the outside at night. The ceiling uses pearl white decorated panels, and the embedded backlight strips echo the ribbons on the facade and the curves in the landscape. The walls, bars and other spaces are decorated with light timer to add softness and warmth to the interior space.

Finally, the VIP lounge area is luxuriously decorated with red carpet, gypsum board, and pearl mosaic decoration. Movable and fixed furniture try to present a light and flexible space. A series of 'jellyfish' chandeliers hang from the ceiling. This artistic installation is gorgeous in shape and shining brightly, projecting the glory of the floating celebrities for the coming celebrities and politicians.
