We are seeking an Aviation Analyst to provide support to the Finance Business Partner (FBP), Aviation in all aspects of budgeting and planning, analysis and reporting.

Key accountabilities:

• Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in the preparation and reporting of the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including the identification of cost and revenue drivers as well as savings initiatives

• Review results with the respective management teams ensuring the implications of the results on full year outcomes are understood

• Assist with maintaining a rolling forecast process for the current financial year

Monthly Reporting

• Support the month end process for Aviation, with timelines and processes clearly understood within the Aviation business

• Compile monthly reconciliations supporting Airline incentive contributions

• Manage Aviation Departmental P&L reporting: actual vs forecast vs budget; interacting with the business to ensure cost trends are understood & risks and opportunities are articulated

Security Recoveries

• Produce quarterly and annual security reporting for airlines, detailing and commentating on performance against budget and KPIs

• Respond to external ad hoc commercial queries, including evaluating scenarios to drive cost reductions

ASA Reporting

• Provide analytical and commercial support to the Aviation FBP and ASA Program Director on ad hoc requests relating to ASA financials

• Deep understanding of APAM's activity based costing methodology

• Support the Aviation FBP with the d velopment and production of any financial modelling or reporting on ASA forecasts or performance

The ideal candidate will have:

• CA/CPA qualified;

• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce or similar.

• Proven experience supporting a distinct business unit in a corporate finance environment.

• 3-5 years post qualification experience

• Highly analytical and technically competent

• High attention to detail

• Able to grasp new concepts quickly and with ease

• Able to work independently and well in a team.

• Aid in the delivery of business improvement opportunities relating to Aviation.
