An exciting opportunity has become available for a Communications Coordinator to join our Corporate & Public Affairs team. In our world, a Communications Coordinator designs and implements their own campaigns, as well as providing critical support to the bigger programs across External and Internal Communications functions.

The airport's a fast-paced environment and this role ideally suited to candidates with 2-3 years' experience in either agency life or a high-performing corporate communications team in house.

Working with the team you'll provide expert support to the business by implementing best practice public relations and communications activities including media relations, media monitoring and analysis, social media management, internal communications and other duties as required.

The key responsibilities for this role are:

• Develop media releases, pitches and materials, including research, writing, editing, collating and distributing through relevant channels

• Plan and carry out editorial features research and advise team on relevant opportunities

• Build strong and successful working relationships with media and third-party stakeholders

• Evaluate campaigns to drive continuous improvement

• Answer media enquiries via 24/7 phone line

• Manage internal communications, including the weekly APAC News staff e-newsletter

• Responsible for event management activities

• Develop and coordinate corporate communications materials and suppliers

• Provide support, including data entry and database management

The successful candidate will have/be a:

• Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, publishing or journalism

• Minimu two years' experience in public relations and/or corporate communications and/or event management

• Outstanding written skills and the ability to synthesise complex concepts into clear, accessible, relevant language

• Confident media relationship manager

• Experienced in creating content for multiple channels, e.g. editorial, social media, digital

• Attention to detail and time management skills essential
