最近，很多近期考试的同学都向我们抱怨，口语的分通过平时的练习有了很大的提高，但听力分却怎么也上不去。通过与这些同学们的交流，我们不难发现，他们普遍寻在的一个问题就是：Retell Lecture部分发挥的都不大好。

今天，我们就通过Mexico Maize这篇最近的高频的Retell Lecture题目来分析一下即使在真实考试中碰到了机经原题，同学有时依然无法有效获取RL分数的原因。

我们先看一下听力原文：

第一段：

In1943, what became known as the Green Revolution began when Mexico, unable tofeed its growing population, shouted for help.Withina few years, the Ford and Rockefeller Foundations founded the InternationalRice Research Institute in Asia,and by 1962, a newstrain of rice called IR8 was feeding people all over the world.IR8 was the first reallybig modified crop to make a real impact on world hunger.

这一段首先介绍了theGreat Revolution in Mexico的原因是其无法feed the increasingpopulation (红色部分)。接着，作者描述了在几年之内，theFord and Rockefeller Foundations建立了the International Rice ResearchInstitute in Asia (蓝色部分)。然后文章介绍了截止到1962年，一种叫做IR8的新品种被世界人民食用(绿色部分)。最后作者表示IR8是第一个真正对全球饥饿问题有真正影响的转基因作物(紫色部分)。

通过对比同学们的答案与上方的分析及答案，我们可以讲Retell Lecture的失分原因概括为一下集中情况：

情况一：文章没听懂，只能保证流利的说出信息，但答案的的信息点与原文匹配度较低。

此类情况比较容易出现在目标50，58或65分的学生。因为自身英语基础的不足，这些学生可能在考试过程中无法确切听出文章的内容。这类同学一定要在日常复习中在阅读机经的同时，通过精听练习努力提高自身的听力能力。

情况二：太注重文章细节，在有限的时间内无法讲文末的重要信息点讲出。

这类情况容易出现于目标为79分的学生。这些同学一般都具有良好的英语基础及听力能力，在考试过程中，他们经常可以清楚的听出录音的所有内容，包括许多细节。在答题过程中，为了尽量可能拿到更多的内容分，他们有时会倾向于讲自己所有听到的信息说出。因此，他们可能在将笔记的前半段内容说出后40s的时间已经用完，使得笔记后半段的内容无法说出，结果反而得不偿失，丢掉了很多关键点的内容分。所以这些同学一定要提高自己信息总结的能力，在考试中迅速整合内容。

总之，提高Retell Lecture的能力，大家一定要认清自己的情况，有针对性的练习。只有这样才能达到事半功倍的效果。
