Customer Service Assistant (Mandarin + English)

About the business and the role

Lucretia Lighting is an industry leading lighting company, with a focus on providing high-end designer and technical lighting. We are looking to expand our showroom sales team to assist with daily sales and customer service enquiries. Lucretia's Prahran showroom offers the latest designer lighting, as well as LED products for the entire home, making us a one-stop-shop solution for our customers.

We require a full-time Customer Service Assistant to assist us in ensuring our aftersales department is up to the highest standard. 

Job tasks and responsibilities

This role is pivotal to the on-going success and continued improvements of our Aftersales Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their Lucretia Lighting experience. 

The Requirements

To be successful in this position you need to be a compassionate individual that will be open to understand and resolve customer concerns whilst fostering relationships with our existing customers. The role requires someone who is an avid problem solver and can provide customers with resolutions that exceed their expectations and maintain the utmost level of customer service.

• Assisting customers with the ETA's of their orders 

• Airfreight quotes for both international and domestic customers

• Following up on ETA's for both international and domestic customers

• Control stock levels & updating our internal stock management system

• Following up with freight companies for order deliveries etc. 

• Answering all incoming after sales phone and email enquiries. 

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years in a customer service role

• Ability to speak Mandarin + English is a must 

• Lighting experience non-essential

• Personable, presentable and articulate

• High written ability and good grammar skills are essential

• A passion for helping customers

• Availability to work from Monday to Friday

• Ability to work independently, but also in a team environment.
