因此,在第一个body段,我们需要讲出自己的观点,并罗列出论据来解释说明自己的观点。而在第二个body段中则需要提出你的建议。

 

进入主题段。下面我们给大家提供一些写作思路。


Agree

Bring responsibility and punctuality among students to keep the 

work ready within the time frame. Otherwise,if universities don’t bring strict norms, causal attitudes might hamper students’ future.

Disagree

·   Reducing marks creates an discrimination among students. R: sometimes the assignments or task given by the faculty may not be understandable to the foreign students.

·   Deduction of marks is not the best solution. R: Lecturers should sit with students and ask them the problems or concerns that they are facing in submitting task.

·   Deflated grades and distort the students’achievement.

Solutions

·   Teachers must guide students for the timely completion of their respective work & take regular updates until the due date.

·  Help weak students as a mentor to correct their study loopholes. 

·   University must extend the time if anyone has a solid reason.

·   Schools and teachers can separate marks into “approach to learning” and “summative” strands.

·   Involve students’parents and send those students to study hall

As the world integrates, how to assess students has become a prevalent topic for fierce debate. Yet at the same time, various issues have arisen, aserious one of which is should universities deduct students’ work if assignmentis given late. In my opinion, I think universities should not do that and some alternative actions should be applied.

 

Admittedly, penalties due to late submission lead to deflated grades and distort the students’ achievement. More specifically, no curriculum guide has “handing in work on time” as a learning intention, so students should be graded on the quality of their work ratherthan how punctual the assignment is. Thus, if students’ grades are reduced due to late submission, the grades will not reflect the student’s ability to meet the intended learning outcomes of the course they are enrolled in. Hence, it isa not wise choice to deduct students’ work if their assignments are given late.

 

Due to this fact, some actions are needed. Firstly, schools and teachers can separate marks into “approach to learning” and “summative” strands which means that students can get penalized in their “approaches to learning” mark,but not their summative mark. Moreover, for those students who are habitually late on a number of assignments, education institutions can involve students’parents and send those students to study hall to help the students to realize their problems and have a better performance in the future. By doing these,both students’ academic achievement and their positive attitudes can be guaranteed.

 

In conclusion, deducting students’ mark due to late submission is not the best choice for all universities. If professors and schools want toregulate those students’ behaviors, they can separate students’ final grades into two different parts and cooperate with parents and study hall.
