G'day guys, welcome back to Talko English. My name is Yazmin and in this video I am going to teach you a little bit about greetings in Australia. 

大家好，欢迎回到 Talko 英语。我是 Yazmin。在这个视频里，我要教你们一些在澳洲打招呼的方式。

For example if you are at a shopping centre, you can say: "Hi, how are you?"  or "Hi, how are you doing?" 

比如说，如果你在购物中心，你可以说：“嗨，你好吗？”或者 “嗨，你好呀。"

A response to this would be "I'm good, thanks. How are you?" or "I'm doing well. How are you?” 

回应的方式有:“我很好，谢谢。你呢？”或者“我过得不错，你呢？”

If you know the person a little bit, you could say something like: "Hi, how was your day?"

如果你跟这个人比较熟，你可以这样说:“嗨，你今天过得怎样?”

And a response to this would be: "My day was great. I went shopping with my friends." 

这句话可以这样回答："我今天过得不错，我跟朋友去逛街了。"

A response wouldn't usually be : "I'm fine." Now in Australia to say "I am fine."generally kind of just “It is so so." It's not necessarily a positive response. So most Australians will respond with "I'm good."

一般不会回答“我还好。”在澳洲说“我还好”通常就是“一般般”的意思。这算不上一个积极的回答。所以大部分澳洲人的回答是“我很好”

And we don't usually say "How do you do?" in Australia. this is a very old-fashioned,very formal kind of greeting.

我们在澳洲一般不会说“你近日可好”这是种非常老式、过于正式的打招呼。

So if you just say to someone "Hi, how are you? How are you doing?"would seem very easy and very natural.

如果你只是对别人说“嗨，你好吗？你过得如何”就会非常简单自然。
