所谓同义替换也就是出现在题目中的关键词和关键词组不会在你听到的录音中直接出现，而是以同义或近义的表达来替换出现，这样就对做题人定位关键词造成了障碍，最常见的替换有：

1. 词性替换。

assess--------assessment

development-------develop

Europe-------European

consult-------consultation

photocopier-photocopy

2. 同义词组、近义词组的替换：

pressure -------stress 

city-------urban，town

but -------however，

cope with------- deal with

because of -------due to

cost-------price

sign------indication

partner----spouse

a good place --- a natural place

a good project---a popular project

satisfy ----meet/ cater for

Problem ----drawback/weakness/ flaw/ weak point/shortcoming/negative/limitation/disadvantage

in order to-------aim at

at present-------currently/ at the moment/now/ available

at the time------- in the past

at times-------sometimes/ once in a while/from time to time

for example-------for instance/ take…as an example/such as/like

3.     肯定否定的同义替换

原文：We guarantee that no single client will pay more…

答案：the same as other clients

题干：   lack of goodtraining

原文： poor training

4. 主动与被动说法的替换

1）把 Population shift has caused this pressure. 换成This pressure has been caused by population shift.
2)题干： Talk by_____。替换成hen the Director of Studies will talk to you…
